Participants meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 at Maison Desaulniers and choose their itinerary for the day before leaving with the other participants.  What a great way to exercise while socializing!  Cost:  $5 per year

BILLIARDS (POOL)

Play billiards (pool) at any time Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $10 per year.

BOOK CLUBS

Join a group of members to read a designated book in English or French and then get together to discuss it. The English book club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 1:15 p.m. and the French book club meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 1:15 p.m. Cost for each club is $10 per year.

BRIDGE

Gather your foursome or come alone and join fellow bridge aficionados for an afternoon of bridge. With coffee and cookies, games are held on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Cost is $2 per week.

MODEL TRAIN CLUB

Come to the Model Train Club to meet our model train enthusiasts who have constructed an extensive layout of tracks and enjoy running and maintaining their rolling stock each Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. They regularly hold open houses to share their knowledge and show their rail network in operation.

SCIENCE CLUB (FRENCH)

Join other members interested in science each Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. to discuss current topics and innovations. Cost is $25 per year.

SCRABBLE

Join other scrabble fans to play in either English or French on Thursday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. and enjoy coffee and cookies. Cost is $2 per week.

WOOL AND COFFEE

Work with beginner and experienced knitters to make items such as bed socks and lap blankets for distribution to seniors’ homes and hospitals. Projects also include sweaters, baby outfits and other items that are sold in the Boutique. Knitting sessions are held on Monday mornings from 10:15 to noon.

MOVIES

Relax and enjoy a current or classic movie in our comfortable theatre. Each week a different movie is selected for viewing in both English and French. Movies are presented in English on Wednesdays and Thursdays and in French on Mondays and Tuesdays. Seating is limited so please reserve in advance.
